  • Written by Whitten | Intersecting with Our Community

Almost everyone I run into is passionate about Kennesaw State University. You might expect this from our students, faculty and staff. However, the buzz and excitement about KSU transcends our campuses in Kennesaw and Marietta. Residents beyond our walls buzz about the history and future of this university. And, they do so with a smile of pride. This positive relationship with our surrounding community is a result of a tireless quest for our students, faculty, staff, and alumni to engage with the community. While some of these opportunities encourage our students and faculty to reach out to nearby areas as volunteers — such as the annual Day of Service every spring — others are designed to draw members of the broader community to Kennesaw State.  –  November 13, 2018

Since joining the University in August 2013, Lee has sought ways to increase access to research opportunities within the Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology, and has modeled his courses in such a way that guides students into a handful of his own projects.  –  November 13, 2018
