    In 2015, the Carnegie Commission reclassified Kennesaw State University from a “large master’s” to a “doctoral” university, placing it among the top seven percent (7%) of postsecondary institutions in the nation. In recognition that a growing number of new career paths require a graduate degree, KSU’s Graduate College embraced this challenge. This fall, Kennesaw State enrolls nearly 3,200 graduate students – a 13 percent increase since the 2015 consolidation.  –  September 18, 2018

    In Georgia, Kennesaw State University’s CARE Center offers a range of assistance to students who have lived in foster care, who are homeless or who are food insecure.   • Market Research

    A trio of Kennesaw State University students are conducting research on economic freedom, cryptocurrency and market factors affecting illicit drug prices, as the first undergraduate research fellows in the Bagwell Center for the Study of Markets and Economic Opportunity. The first cohort of fellows is composed of finance major Sean Balliew, economics major Robbie Skinner and software engineering major Dave Hagemann. Their research papers examine a wide array of topics pertaining to the Bagwell Center’s mission to help students understand the relationship between free-market institutions, individual choice and economic outcomes.  –  September 17, 2018

  • Atlanta Hawks CEO to speak at Kennesaw State

    Kennesaw State University will welcome Atlanta Hawks Chief Executive Officer Steve Koonin as the next speaker in the Coles College of Business Tetley Distinguished Leader Lecture Series. Koonin will speak Sept. 26 at 1 p.m. in room 151 of the Burruss Building. He will discuss marketing strategies for connecting with the next generation of fans.  –  September 17, 2018

    As Georgia sees an influx of Florence evacuees, Kennesaw State University is offering free sports entertainment.
