    Kennesaw State University student Sirena Grace brought a roar of applause from the crowd when she performed “God Bless America” at the Atlanta Braves game at SunTrust Park on Sept. 21. Not bad for someone who had only two hours to prepare to sing in front of 34,370 people.  –  October 05, 2018

    Kennesaw State’s annual Campus Safety Day will be held on the Campus Green from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Oct. 9. Free flu shots for students, a fire set in a mock dorm room and a visit with the K9s from the KSU Police and Cobb County Sheriff Department highlight the day’s activities.  –  October 04, 2018

  • Kennesaw State Receives Grant To Improve Computing Readiness And Diversity

    Kennesaw State University’s College of Computing and Software Engineering has been awarded a $50,000 grant in an ongoing effort to prepare middle school students interested in computing and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. The grant, part of State Farm’s Systems Priority School 2018 cohort, will support the College’s Readiness, Awareness and Diversity in Computing program, introduces students to the applicability of computing and the career options it can provide.  –  October 03, 2018

Are they on the conductor?” Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster David Coucheron poses the question to a group of attentive Kennesaw State music students who are arrayed in front of him practicing a difficult section of Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 in D Major in preparation for the KSU Symphony Orchestra’s concert on Oct. 4. This is their first instruction by Coucheron, who is the School of Music’s Distinguished Artist in Residence for Orchestral Studies for the 2018-2019 academic year.  –  October 03, 2018

  • Fifth Third Bank Extends Sponsorship with Kennesaw State University

    Fifth Third Bancorp (Nasdaq: FITB) announced today that it will extend its sponsorship agreement with Kennesaw State University for four years, until 2023. The agreement with KSU Athletic Association grants the Bank naming rights to the university’s stadium and designation as the Official Bank of Kennesaw State Athletics.  –  October 03, 2018
