Kennesaw State’s Office of Admissions offers weekly Facebook Live sessions
“Ask Admissions” series connects KSU experts with prospective students and families
KENNESAW, Ga. (Apr 8, 2020) — In an effort to assist prospective students, families and high school counselors during the college admissions season amid the current pandemic, Kennesaw State’s Office of Admissions will host weekly “Ask Admissions” sessions through Facebook Live broadcasts.
Hosting the weekly programs on Facebook Live – a platform for live-streaming video on Facebook – is part of Admissions’ commitment to utilize social media to share information and be accessible to prospective students and their families.
“Ask Admissions” is a weekly question-and-answer series on Facebook Live that connects potential Kennesaw State students and their parents, as well as high school counselors, with University experts on a variety of topics, including admissions, orientation, housing and residence life.
The upcoming weekly sessions will feature KSU students, such as campus tour guides or students in specific majors, as well as KSU admissions and other campus representatives.
Anyone interested in attending Kennesaw State can watch and ask questions to learn about all the resources available to them as they transition to college.
Admissions staff and other KSU representatives will share frequently asked questions that they usually hear during KSU campus tours and open house activities, and will also answer questions in real time as they are submitted during the broadcast.
“Ask Admissions” sessions generally run Thursdays from 2-3 p.m. on the University’s Facebook page.
