Kennesaw State business administration and information systems major Ambrielle August, who began her summer internship in email marketing at Mailchimp, an Atlanta-based marketing platform for businesses, is the focus on the University College’s latest podcast episode.

August explains how she landed an internship with her dream company by building a network and not being afraid to reach out to others. She also shares her experiences at Kennesaw State, where she worked as a student assistant in the University College Dean’s Office and a resident assistant for on-campus housing. She offers advice for fellow students on being involved on campus and taking advantage of every opportunity, no matter how small.
