Admissions team to answer questions during Facebook Live event May 20

Upcoming “Ask Admissions” program will focus on military veterans topics

KENNESAW, Ga. (May 15, 2019) — Kennesaw State University admissions representatives will answer questions about fall application deadlines, tours and information sessions, as well as military veterans specific topics during KSU’s upcoming Facebook Live broadcast on Monday, May 20 from 7-8 p.m.

“Ask Admissions” is a monthly question-and-answer series on Facebook Live that connects potential Kennesaw State students and their parents with University experts on a variety of topics, including admissions, orientation and housing and residence life.

The upcoming May 20 session will feature special topics for military veterans with representatives from KSU’s Office of Military and Veteran Services discussing on-campus resources, community partnerships, and general information on academic advising and benefits counseling for military personnel and veterans at KSU.

Hosting the monthly programs on Facebook Live – a platform for live-streaming video on Facebook – is part of Admissions’ commitment to utilize social media to share information and be accessible to prospective students and their families.

Anyone interested in attending Kennesaw State, especially those who are active duty, reserve or veteran military, can watch and ask questions to learn about all the resources available to them as they transition to college. Admissions staff and other KSU representatives answer questions in real time as they are submitted during the broadcast.

“Ask Admissions” airs once per month on Mondays from 7 to 8 p.m. and covers a variety of relevant topics about Kennesaw State.
