Some students did double-takes when they caught their first glimpse of Kennesaw State's kinesthetic classroom, which is equipped with chairs that wobble and desks that have pedals for striding, stepping or stationary biking.

Dr. Whitten's First Day
Our new Owl-in-Chief, Dr. Pamela Whitten, got a big KSU welcome during her first day on the job as she toured the Kennesaw Campus. She toured the Marietta Campus the following week.

First Day of School Cake
More than 1,500 students, faculty and staff were treated to cake on both the Kennesaw and Marietta campuses, continuing a family tradition President Whitten started with her eldest child about 25 years ago.
