Students receive degrees at summer commencement

More than 1,600 Kennesaw State University students turned their tassels and became alumni in three commencement ceremonies held Friday.

“It’s been a long and difficult road to get to where you are today, but I promise you, as you will see over the coming days, months and years, it is well worth it,” KSU President Sam Olens told graduates at the 10 a.m. ceremony, the university’s 196th commencement.
