Owl-O-Ween returns to Kennesaw State
Balloon festival attracts 30,000 to KSU Sports + Entertainment Park
KENNESAW, Ga. (Oct 14, 2016) — Kennesaw State University’s Sports + Entertainment Park hosted the fourth annual Owl-O-Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival Oct. 21-22, featuring more than 25 balloons, trick-or-treating, tethered balloon rides, Atlanta’s largest Costume Party, over 125 performers and more.
The event is Atlanta’s only hot air balloon festival and is produced by KSU’s student-run Night Owl Productions. Organizers estimated the event attracted more than 30,000 visitors over the course of the family-friendly two-day festival.
Owl-O-Ween included entertainment across five stages to include musicians, roving entertainers, dancers and novelty acts. There was a vendor marketplace, artists’ market, a costume contest and multiple food vendors.
