Georgia (Jan 3, 2013) — Economics professor Don Sabbarese is director of the Econometric Center at the Michael J. Coles College of Business and specializes in macroeconomics and financial institutions. As director of the Econometric Center, he is responsible for the Georgia Purchasing Managers Survey, the Southeast Regional Purchasing Managers Survey and the Georgia International Business Index, all of which measure manufacturing activity.Link To Website
Sabbarese has done research on the local and regional economies, industry surveys, economic impact studies and tax revenue forecasting. He serves as a member of the board of directors of the Institute for Supply Management-Atlanta. He served as director of the Graduate School of Banking for Community Bankers. His work at the Econometric Center has been reported by local, regional and national media.
