KSU State to break ground on museum

Kennesaw State University will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the construction site adjacent to the Dr. Bobbie Bailey & Family Performance Center.

Bernard A. Zuckerman, a retired businessman and donor, will join school officials for the ceremony.

The 9,200-square-foot museum, a privately funded facility, will house the University’s permanent art collection and serve as a cultural resource on contemporary art.

The museum is expected to open in fall 2013. Information: www.kennesaw.edu/arts.
