Kennesaw State University Men’s Ensemble to Perform in Texas' Winspear Opera House

The first  performance will be held Friday, March 15, at 4:30 p.m. in the Winspear Opera House, followed by one the next day at 1:30 p.m. in the Meyerson Symphony Center. This invitation marks the group's debut at an ACDA national conference. The ensemble is under the direction of Leslie J. Blackwell, director of choral activities.
The KSU Men’s Ensemble recently performed at the 2012 Georgia Music Educators Assocation (GMEA) Conference in Savannah. In 2007, the group was featured at the GMEA Conference presentation “Men…Can’t Live with Them, Can’t Sing without Them!”
The ensemble, formed in 2000, is a non-auditioned choir open to all students, including music majors and non-majors. Ranging from freshmen to seniors, the choir represents a variety of musical backgrounds and academic disciplines.
Next summer, the KSU Men’s Ensemble will be featured at the ACDA State Conference at Clayton State University's Spivey Hall.
