American flags planted on the west Campus Green spell out "9/11" and fly at half mast to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the United States. KSU's Young Republican Club also planted flags along the Green's walkways to honor those who lost their lives during the attack, the valor of the first responders and the men and women who serve in the U.S. armed servicess.
