Kennesaw‚ Ga. – “The Hard Truth about Professional Selling‚” an executive−level sales
seminar‚ will be hosted by the Center for Professional Selling based at the Coles
College of Business at Kennesaw State University. Leading researchers and authorities
on selling and sales management will lead the one−day seminar on Tuesday‚ Nov. 14‚
at the KSU Center. It is designed for sales leaders‚ business owners and sales executives.
The agenda will examine research that reveals much about the strategy‚ productivity
and performance of successful sales persons‚ and well as their characteristics and
best practices. The faculty and industry experts will impart five trends that shape
the future of selling‚ and how to leverage them; how to move past the competition;
the science behind effective recruiting; building an ethical and effective sales culture;
and what “multi−channel” means to the professional sales force.
The faculty includes Terry Loe‚ Ph.D.‚ Director of the Center for Professional Selling
at the Coles College of Business‚ and Pat Schul‚ founder of the Schul Group‚ who will
be joining the KSU faculty in January 2007.
Loe‚ an internationally recognized expert‚ has published more than 30 articles in
sales and academic journals‚ and his research has won several awards. He also created¸
developed and directs the annual National Collegiate Sales Competition‚ which involves
the leading university sales programs from across the United States‚ Canada and Mexico.
Schul is actively involved in coaching executives and their teams to better understand
the issues impacting their top−line capabilities and performances. He has also been
Managing Director and Global Sales Leader for Marsh Inc.‚ the world’s largest risk
management and insurance brokering organization.
BPT Partners will co−present “The Hard Truth about Professional Selling.” Additional
seminars in San Antonio and Dallas will be co−hosted by BPT and Baylor University.
