Applications are now being accepted for the Georgia WebMBA® program‚ which allows working professionals to earn a Master of Business Administration degree online. The deadline for applications for the Fall 2004 cohort is June 7‚ 2004.
“This is a very exciting time for the WebMBA program‚” says WebMBA® Director Joe Bocchi. “We have now launched four cohorts‚ and we recently announced an international study program with Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Bernburg‚ Germany. On limited projects in select courses‚ students from Anhalt and the WebMBA® program will work together over the Internet‚ adding an important international business component to the program.”
The Georgia WebMBA® program is run by a consortium of five Georgia universities: Kennesaw State University‚ Georgia College & State University‚ Georgia Southern University‚ The State University of West Georgia‚ and Valdosta State University.
The program has attracted students from all over the state and the nation. Participants include busy professionals and entrepreneurs with years of business experience. The program takes place entirely online‚ except for a two−day orientation at KSU.
“The program offers the quality of a traditional MBA‚ the convenience of an online program‚ and a cost that’s competitive nationwide‚” Bocchi says.
